Beecoming Ambrosian
Your first week of college will be full of expected events: moving in, finding your classes, eating breakfast for dinner, and going out with your friends on the weekend.
But for your second day at Ambrose, that's when you discover what this place is all about: We send you into the Quad Cities community to serve others.
This is Beecoming Ambrosian, when hundreds of First-Year Ambrosians spend an entire morning working side-by-side, getting to know each other – and inevitably – getting that satisfied, exhilerating feeling knowing someone will be grateful for what you did.
Making a Difference
Our students typically give more than 178,000 service hours each year to volunteer projects here and across the world.
Uplifting dance moves
Our impact is larger because we unite in service. Each year, hundreds of SAU students pour their heart and soul into 13 hours of dance. It's a reflection of their noble drive to support children battling tough medical challenges. Since 2013, SAU Dance Marathon has raised more than $1.3 million for Children's Miracle Network and the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
